Peruvian National Football Team represents Peru in the international football competitions and is administrated by Peruvian Football Federation. Peru is one of the successful nation on the South American continent. Peru has played in four editions of the FIFA World Cups and has recently qualified for its fifth edition. Finally, Peru broke the dreadlock of disqualification since 1982. It's Peru's FIFA Worldcup after 36 years.

The team's all-time top goalscorer is Paolo Guerrero, with 32 goals in 86 appearances and is followed by Teófilo Cubillas, who scored 26 goals in 81 appearances. Paolo Guerrero is the captain of his Peruvian national team and the head coach is Ricardo Gareca.
