During Lamb's high school career, he played very well. Later on, after completing high school, Jeremy Emmanuel Lamb enrolled and played for the University of Connecticut.
During the 2012 NBA Draft, Jeremy was selected with the 12th overall pick by Houston Rockets.
Later on, Jeremy along with Kevin Martin was traded to Oklahoma Thunder on October 27, 2012.
Lamb was named Futures All-Star roster for the 2013 NBA D-League All-Star Game. In the meantime, Lamb was recalled by Thunder replacing him with Tony Mitchell. In the middle of 2015, Lamb was traded for Luke Ridnour by Charlotte Hornets. Moreover, Lamb signed 3 years contract extension with $21 million with the Charlotte on 2015 November 2.
After he was recovered from a hamstring injury, Jeremy made his career-best game with Hornets with 18 points and 17 rebounds against New York Knicks in his first start with Hornets, Also Lamb scored his career-high 32 points in a 129-111 loss to Toronto Raptors on December 20, 2017.
