Jimbo has been the head coach for the Texas A&M Aggies since 2018. He started his career playing as a quarterback for his university. Fisher began working as a Graduate Assistant with his Alma Mater in 1988. After working for two seasons, The coach got promoted to Offensive Coordinator. In 1993, Auburn hired him as their new Quarterback Coach. 

Fisher had a decent time with the team, worked until the 1998 season, and moved to Cincinnati as their Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach.
