Alvaro Morata's Wife Alice Campello Gives Birth to Twins Baby Boys: Sons' Photos

It's time to congratulate Alvaro Morata and Alice Campello! The Chelsea striker and his wife have now become parents as the Italian model gave birth to twin sons Leonardo and Alessandro this weekend.

The Spanish football player took to Instagram on Sunday, July 29 to announce the arrival of the latest addition to the family, sharing three photos of the duo and their kids while they are still in the hospital

One of the photos features Alice lying on a hospital bed with the baby boys as her husband poses for the picture by her side.

The touching caption reads, "And the day arrived ... July 29, 2018, a day I will never forget. The wait has been long, very long. It has been only 9 months but for us it has been like 3 years."

Y llegó el día... 29 de julio de 2018, un día que jamas olvidaré. La espera ha sido larga, muy muy larga. Han sido tan solo 9 meses pero para nosotros han sido como 3 años. No tengo palabras para darte las gracias Alice, gracias por hacerme el regalo más bonito e increíble del mundo. Cada día desde que te conozco doy gracias a Dios por haberte puesto en mi camino, eres l piedra angular de mi vida. Estos meses has luchado como una leona, no puedo estar más orgulloso de ti; noches en el hospital, días deshidratada, días enteros juntos en la cama sin poder ni movernos... pero al final llegó el día, llegó y todo mereció la pena. The caption continued,

I have no words to thank you Alice, thank you for making me the most beautiful and incredible gift in the world. Every day since I know you I thank God for having put you in my way, you are the cornerstone of my life.

These months you have fought like a lioness, I can not be more proud of you; nights in the hospital, dehydrated days, whole days together in bed without being able to move... but in the end the day arrived, it arrived and everything was worth it.

Welcome to the world Alessandro and Leonardo. I only ask that you have health and be happy with the love that is breathed in our house, in our family.

Finally I want to thank the doctors, here and there who have helped us in these hard months, and especially to all the people who work in the hospital dell'Angelo for their kindness and sensitivity.

The proud mom also posted an Instagram photo of the complete family, captioning the post,

I could not love my family any more and I could not be happier than that. It is inexplicable. Thank you for everything you did and do for me and thank you for being so close throughout pregnancy and today. You're the best husband and dad in the world, my love

Alvaro and Alice are not the only couple who welcomed a bundle of joy this month. Last week, Manchester United player Anthony Martial and his fiancee Melanie Da Cruz welcomed a baby boy.

Alvaro is expected to get permission to take a break from Chelsea as the couple have become parents for the first time.

Earlier this year, the couple was caught enjoying a trip to Dubai, and at the same time, she had flaunted her growing baby bump.

The couple became married in Venice, Italy on June 17, 2017, after getting engaged on 10 December 2016.
