Alena Sharp is a well-known Canadian professional golf player. She is currently playing in professional events since 2003. Alena played in the LPGA Tour and played in the Symetra Tour in the 2004/5 and 2013/14 seasons. Sharp has won nine professional events, including one Symetra Tour and eight other events in her professional career.

Career

Alena started playing golf at the age of ten. Both of her parents supported her a lot in her initial days. She played golf for the New Mexico State University and won the 2000 Big West Conference Championship, 2002 NMSU Invitational, and the 2002 and 2003 Sun Belt Conference Championship. Sharp turned professional in 2003 and won the Canadian PGA Women's Championship on the BMO Financial Group Canadian Women's Tour in 2004.
