Russia Vs Saudi Arabia: Alan Dzagoev Replaced by Denis Cheryshev after Picking up an Injury Soccer

Alan Dzagoev was replaced by Denis Cheryshev after picking up an injury in the 24th minute of the World Cup opening game against Saudi Arabia. Russia was leading with 1-0.

The PFC CSKA Moscow central midfielder had difficulties in the hamstring while the Russian were attempting a counter attack. Dzagoev was quite good with the attack and was dangerous for the Saudi Arabian.

Cheryshev will now control the midfield of the host nation. He is a product of the Real Madrid youth Academy and currently plays of the Spanish La Liga side Villarreal CF as a left winger.

Cheryshev doubled the score in the 43 minute with amazing skills beating the defender. The host nation is leading by 2-0 in the first half. 

Leading with 3-0 after Dzyuba's goal, Russia's victory became more prominent after Denis Chebyshev again scored the 4th goal in the starting 45 second of the extra time.
