On 15 December 2017, Cozart signed a three-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels on $38 million. As of 2018, he is playing for the Los Angeles Angels. But on 13 June 2018, he left the game with a shoulder injury while fielding a ground ball.

He had undergone season-ending surgery. He, however, completed his first season with the Angels batting .219 with 5 home runs and 19 RBI's in just 58 games.
