After several weeks of rumors, Thibaut Courtois' move to Spanish club Real Madrid has been official with only medical and personal terms remained to finalize the deal. The deal was earlier put on hold by Chelsea until the arrival of the replacement for the Belgian man.
The Blues have almost signed Athletic Bilbao's Kepa Arrizabalaga for £71m - a world record for a goalkeeper. Real Madrid will also let Mateo Kovacic join Chelsea on a 1-year loan deal which will be confirmed this week.

Los Blancos are said to offer a six-year contract for the 26-year-old goalkeeper and will be presented in Spain's capital this week.
Courtois joined Chelsea from Genk in 2011 and also played for Atletico Madrid on a loan until 2014. He was also voted the best goalkeeper in the FIFA World Cup 2018 as the member of the Belgian team that secured the third position.
