Sahith Reddy Theegala was born on December 4, 1997, in Orange, California, U.S., to his Indian parents Karuna Theegala (Mother) and Muralidhar Theegala (Father). His father moved from India to the United States in 1987 for graduate school.

After that, Muralidhar's fellow Indian immigrant Karuna Theegala. Later, they dated and married. Muralidhar used to visit India at least once every two years. Sahith also has a younger brother named Sahan. Their grandmother relocated to the U.S. to raise them as their mother battled cancer.

Furthermore, Sahith's father is a massive sports fan. So, his parents introduced him to golf and supported him in getting involved in this field. Theegala began playing golf at the age of three. Sahith Theegala Golf Career From Amateur to Professional

The Orange native went to Pepperdine University, where he was a three-time NCAA All-American. Theegala's college career was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. Afterward, Theegala made his professional debut in June 2020 at the Outlaw Tour's Lone Tree Classic.

Since then, Sahith has begun playing in major tournaments and has already given his best. He finished top 30 at Tour Championship at the end of the 2021-22 season. Theegala began his 2022-23 season with a top-10 finish at the Fortinet Championship.
