Russell along with his successful career has also given his handful contribution to the charity works. Russell makes his visit to Seattle Children Hospital and also with soldiers at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on weekly basis.

Russell used to play baseball for his college team Baltimore Orioles before joining the NFL. Russell Wilson played professionally for the Colorado Rockies after his 2010 MLB Draft, however, it short-lived after he decided to play in NFL.
