Oleg Aleksandrovich Prudius is a Ukrainian-American retired professional wrestler. He is better known by the ring name of Vladimir Kozlov. He was born on April 20, 1979, in Kiev, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic to Ukrainian (Father) and American (Mother) which makes his nationality Ukrainian-American. He belongs to white ethnicity and his star sign is Taurus. He is a man of multi-talent. Vladimir has trained in different sectors like freestyle wrestling, rugby, football, sambo, kickboxing, judo, jujutsu, and mixed martial arts. He is also recognized as stage and screen actor.
CAREER
A giant Vladimir has been involved in numerous sports. However, he has set his career in wrestling on January 17, 2006, after being 2005 USA Open Heavyweight Sambo Champion and the United States Kick-Boxing heavyweight Grappling Champion. Earlier, he has also played American football for the Ukrainian National Team and Santa Barbara City College.
Vladimir Kozlov first joined to Deep South Wrestling (DSW) in the agreement of development. There he had his first fight against Bobby Walker. Afterward, his unbelievable fighting skills led him to won the Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Championship by defeating Paul Burchill.
After working 2 years on DSW and OVW, Vladimir made his official WWE debut under the SmackDown brand as a villainous role. In that respect, he fought with several all-star wrestlers such as Undertaker, Jeff hardy, Triple H, Edge, and so on. Later, he was transferred to ECW brand where he attended numerous matches. So far, Vladimir has won numbers of the title during his wrestling career. Some of them are WWE Tag Team Championship (with Santino Marella), Slammy Award, and so on.
On August 5, 2011, Vladimir declared his retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment after breaking his leg while clashing with world strongest man Mark Henry. Likewise, he immediately joined to Inoki Genome Federation working for the Japanese promotion making his new ring name Alexander Kozlov.
Vladimir has also made his film career debut appearing in the second season of the HBO drama series The Wire, Roksalana, It's Not to Easy on Ukrainian TV, Spike Lee’s film 25th Hour, Fast and Furious 6, and so on.
PERSONAL LIFE
Tall and talented Vladimir is now of age 37 but he seems like a single man. He is not married and does not have a girlfriend either. Currently, he resides in Bal Harbour, Florida, the United States. There is no such record of his affair, dating, wife, and other marital relationship with a woman.
