Mohamed Salah was left out of the playing XI in Egypt's World Cup 2018 match against Uruguay- on his 26th birthday. Earlier, he was reported to be fit and was expected to start against the South Americans side.
Born on June 15, 1992, Salah turns 26 today.
Salah met a shoulder injury after colliding with Sergio Ramos in the UCL Final against Liverpool. There were several doubts that the Egyptian talisman wouldn't be fit for the World Cup and also missed the pre-World Cup friendlies.

Amr Warda will start in place of Salah in the right wing with Abdallah Said, Mahmoud Trezeguet and Marwan Mohsen in the attacking line. On the other side, stars like Edinson Cavani, Luis Suarez, Diego Godin will all be in the line-up.
However, we might get to see him enter the ground as a substitute to lead Egypt to their first World Cup victory and make his birthday memorable.
