An American baseball pitcher Trevor Andrew Bauer is currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball. He was the Arizona Diamondbacks' third selection in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.

Trevor Bauer was born on January 17, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. He had attended Hart High School in Santa Clarita and the University of California, Los Angeles. He had played for his high school baseball team as well as the University baseball team UCLA Bruins baseball team. 

He was a member of the USA 2009 Baseball Collegiate National Team. The team which he represented was named as the freshman All-America in 2009 by Baseball America. Trevor had played in the 2010 College World Series and NCAA Championship Series.

His collegiate career was very impressive. With his outstanding performance, he was named the Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year, All-Pac-10 First Team, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's National Player of the Year, District IX Player of the Year by National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, and College Player of the Year by Baseball America.

Trevor Bauer Professional Career

Bauer was selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft by Arizona Diamondbacks. On July 25, he agreed on a major league contract with the Diamondbacks. He made his professional debut against the Class A-Advanced Visalia Rawhide. 

On December 11, 2012, he was traded to Cleveland Indians in a three-team deal with Matt Albers, Bryan Shaw in exchange for Didi Gregorius, Tony Sipp, and Lars Anderson. In Cleveland Indians he played for 3years along side his teammate Carlos Carrasco. On July 31, 2019, he was traded to the Cincinnati Reds where he plays alongside Joey Votto and Curt Casali.

In early 2021, The player signed with the Dodgers and played for a season. He was accused of sexual assault, proved guilty, and suspended from 364 games—i.e., for almost two years.
