Trevin Giles, a Houston police officer, defeats James Krause at UFC 247 MMA

The Houston Police Department is in safe hands. An officer at the Houston Police Department recently competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday at the Toyota Center.

Houston police officer Trevin Giles had a middleweight bout against James Krause. He defeated Krause via split decision with 28-29, 29-28, 29-28 score and was also awarded the Fight of the Night, as announced by the UFC president Dana White.

 

 

 

 

The Houston Police Officer's Union acknowledged Giles revealed that their officer won the fight through their Twitter account. The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner also congratulated Giles.

 

 

 

 

Giles is ranked as the No. 1 middleweight in Texas and Louisiana. He's been a professional fighter since 2014.
