Trayvon Bromell was the first high school athlete to ever finish under the 10-second mark in th 100 in history. He claimed two NCAA titles while at Baylor University. Bromell won the gold medal at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships in th 60-meter at the age of 20.

Got Inspired to Go to the Olympics By a Video Game

It may come as a bombshell statement but the star athlete was inspired to become an Olympian after playing a video game Athens 2004. Bromell's friend TJ Holmes in an interview said:

“We had some downtime before one of our track meets and started playing this video game. We never thought about the Olympics or even watched them. After that, we wanted to be a part of something like that in the future. We were both hoping we could someday be characters in that game.”
