The University of Maryland graduate, Tianna Hawkins, is a professional basketball player currently signed to the Washington Mystics of the WNBA. The 2013 draftee by Seattle Storm, she also plays side south Korean league side Asan Woori Bank, Wiebe.

A native of Washington D.C., Hawkins was born on 2nd March 1991, under the star sign Pisces. The 2019 WNBA champion holds an American nationality and belongs to the Afro-American ethnic background. Besides, the twenty-eight years old is currently engaged and has a son.

However, the news proved to be false as she later revealed that she was not engaged. In 2020, she officially announced that she has engaged with J. Randall and is soon to be “Mrs. Randall”.

Besides this, she has not shared any information about her fiance. It seems like, she prefers her love life low key. Hawkins is yet to announce her wedding date. 

Mother of a Son 

Hawkins was just 23 years old and had finished her second season in the WNBA when she was pregnant with her son, Emanuel.

She revealed her pregnancy news via her official socials in February 2015. Later four months on 17th July, she welcomed her baby boy at 8:07 pm, weighing 6 lbs, 6.8 ounces, and 19 1/2 inches long.  However, she has not shared any information about her son's father. 

Six weeks later, she started practicing with the Mystics. That fall, she went to France and South Korea to get her game back, and in 2016, she was ready for her third season in the WNBA and second with the Mystics.

Family

Hawkins was raised alongside her twin sister, Tierra, who played basketball at Delaware State by their mother, Latanya. She attended high school in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where she has been in the Washington, D.C. area for most of her life.

Besides, Hawkins likes to spend her spare time in the city shopping and having fun by going out with her friends. Her favorite places in D.C. are along U Street and Adams Morgan, which both have plenty of great dining options, her choice of which is Ben’s Next Door.

Career

In the 2013 WNBA Draft, Hawkins was drafted by the Seattle Storm with the 6th overall pick. During the 2013-14 season, she played for the UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron in the EuroLeague Women season.

On April 14, 2014, Hawkins and Bria Hartley were traded to the Washington Mystics in exchange for Crystal Langhorne.

In 2019, she won her first WNBA championship.
