Theo Walcott is an English professional football player who currently plays forward for Premier League's club Arsenal and the England national football team. The 28 years old professional has played for clubs like Southampton and Arsenal.

Early Life

Theo Walcott was born as Theo James Walcott on 16 March 1989. He was born to a British Jamaican father,  Donald Walcott and English mother, Lynne Walcott. In Stanmore, England.

Talking about his nationality, he is an English. Though he was born in Stanmore, England, he grew up in Compton, Berkshire. He attended Compton Church of England Primary School and The Downs School.

Club Career

Southampton

Theo Walcott began his professional footballing career in 2005, joining the Premier League's Southampton. He was the youngest-ever player with the Southampton first team, at 16 years in a match against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship.

He made his professional debut for the club playing against Leeds United on 18 October 2005, scoring a goal which made him Southampton's youngest senior goalscorer. His only season with the club ended up with a total of 21 appearances and four goals.

Arsenal

He further moved to the league's fellow club Arsenal on 20 January 2006, and made his premier league debut on 19 August 2006, against Aston Villa. His Champions League debut came on 23 August 2006. He was awarded the 'BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award at the end of 2006, for his performance as a young player'.

He got his first Arsenal goal on 25 February, in a match against Chelsea. He further changed his shirt number from 32 to 14, as previously worn by his idol, Thierry Henry, in the 2008–09 season. He is still with the club making his 11th season of his career with the team along with players like Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

International Career

Theo Walcott has represented his national team England at both junior and senior levels in several tournaments. He made his senior international debut on 8 May 2006. For his nation, he has won over 48 caps scoring seven goals.

Personal Life

Theo Walcott is a married man; he tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Melanie Slade. The couple first met in 2004, at the WestQuay shopping center in Southampton. After having their relationship for seven long years, the couple tied their knots on June 15, 2013, at the Castello di Vincigliata in Tuscany, Italy among their family and friends.

Theo and spouse, Melanie blessed with their first child on 10 April 2014 and son named their son as Finley James Walcott. Their second son is Arlo Walcott who was born on 26 November 2016.
