Taiseer Al-Jassam is a native of Al-Hasa, Saudi Arabia, born on 25th July 1984. At a tender age of eleven, Al-Jassim began his football career playing at Hajer Club. After playing eight years, he switched to Al-Ahli in 2003.

After spending a season with the youth team of Al-Ahilm Al_Jassim was promoted up to the main side of the club. In 2007, the footballer led the Al-Ahli win the Saudi Federation Cup as well as the Saudi Crown Prince Cup, following his goal for his side in the final match with Ittihad FC. Also, he won the Gulf Cup along with his team in front of Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia the following year.

In 2012, Al-Jassim was instrumental in leading the Al-Ahli to the final game AFC Champions League. The same year he won the King Cup of Champions for the second time.

Loan to Al-Gharafa

In 2007, Al-Jassim was loaned to Al-Gharafa. Promptly, he made a good impact with the Qatar Stars League runners-up as he scored a goal and created another in the Emir Cup before returning to his parent club.

Loan to Qatar SC

On 8th May 2009, Al-Jassim was again loaned out but this time to Qatar SC. He played two matches and scored a goal before returning to Al-Ahli.

Taisir Al-Jassim's International Career

In 2004, Taisir Al-Jassim was called up to the Saudi Arabia national team for the time. On 27th June 2007, he scored his first international goal in a friendly match against Singapore. The game ended in a 2-1 triumph.

Al-Jassim has represented his national side in 2007 AFC Asian Cup, 2009 Gulf Cup of Nations, 2011 AFC Sian Cup, and 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

In May 2018, he was named in Saudi Arabia’s preliminary squad along with his teammates Yasser Al Mosailem, Mansoor Al-Harbi and Salman Al-Faraj for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
