Switzerland National Football Team represents the national football team of Switzerland in several international tournaments and is controlled by the Swiss Football Association.
Switzerland has appeared in 4 World Cups so far and their first World Cup appearance was in 1934 when it reached the quarter-final before losing to Czechoslovakia. Switzerland has hosted the tournament in 1954 and reached the quarter-final for a third time.
