Stipe Miocic has no Plan to Retire after Daniel Cormier Trilogy MMA

UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and former champion Daniel Cormier are scheduled to fight a trilogy at UFC 252 for the championship and all eyes are on DC as he announced that he plans to regardless of what will be the outcome on August 15.

Similarly, there were also claims that the current champion Miocic may too hang his gloves with a win after the super-fight as there is nothing more to accomplish for the Ohio native after beating DC twice.

While Miocic was asked if he has a retirement plan at the UFC 252 pre-fight press conference, he revealed he always has the things in mind.

I think about retirement after every fight. Since my first fight at UFC 136, I think about retirement. I love what I do. The minute I’m not having fun and it acts like a job, I’m out. Right now, I’m good. I’m happy. I had a great camp, to the best of my abilities, especially being quarantined with this pandemic going on but honestly I feel great.

Miocic said (transcription via MMAFighting).

“We’ll see how long I can go. I don’t know about 40, god bless D.C. but I don’t know about that. A little bit longer.”

He added.

Who do you think will claim the title at UFC 252?
