Stephen Curry Injury Update: Expected to Return Early Spring Basketball

Golden State Warriors' point guard Stephen Curry talked about the condition of his hand ahead of the team's game against Utah Jazz and revealed that he hopes to return early spring into action. He suffered a broken hand against the Phoenix Suns after he crashed with Aron Baynes.

The NBA MVP had pins placed in his hand on his first surgery which need to be removed on the second surgery. The surgery might cause some swelling in the hand which will eventually increase the recovery time- probably around 3-months.

"I definitely expect to be ready to play, I don't know when, but at some point in the spring. It's just a matter of the rehab process. I've never obviously dealt with a hand injury like this."

Curry said with a hope to return in the spring.

Warriors have struggled to win the NBA game in absence of Steph and another key player Klay Thompson. They are at the bottom of the Western Conference with 2-8 record in 10 games. Klay suffered a torn ACL in the NBA Finals against Toronto Raptors and will remain of action for the full 2019 season.
