Gordon was named Big West Conference Midfielder of the Year, in 2011 when she was playing for the Long Beach State 49ers. She is one of the few players selected to represent the United States for the under-17 national team. She was also called in for the United States women's national under-20 soccer team.

Gordon made six appearances for Umea IK in Sweden's Damallsvenskan, a club which she had joined in the fall of 2014. The team ended the season in a sixth place. After her departure from Umea, she signed in with Sky Blue FC of NWSL in October of 2014. She has been with the team ever since. On the 2015 season, she made 13 appearances with 10 starts. The club ended the season in eighth place.
