Seimone Delicia Augustus is a professional women Basketball player from America currently playing in the WNBA from the Minnesota Lynx, Dynamo Kursk and from the US National Team. She is an openly lesbian basketball player. She is one of the most recognized names in the WNBA. She has become WNBA All-Star for five times and has won two WNBA Championships with her team. She was also the winner of the WNBA Finals MVP in 2011. Born on 30th April 1984 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, to parents Seymore and Kim Augustus, Seimone played Basketball since her childhood and was very passionate on it. She attended Louisiana State University and played from the college’s basketball team, LSU Lady Tigers. She won the Naismith College Player of the Year, Wooden Award and Wade Trophy. Seimone Augustus was picked in no.1 overall draft by Minnesota Lynx in 2006 WNBA Draft. She has been playing from the team since 2006 till date.
