Russia Netted Two Goals in the first half Soccer

With the start of the game, Saudi was seen possessing the field but as the game reached its first quarter, Russia suddenly increased it's ball positioning and started attacking Saudi Arabian Team. Yury Gazinsky scored the first goal of the World Cup only 11 minutes into the game.

On 11 minute Gazinsky,  a Russian Midfielder netted the first goal for Russia. With that goal, he became the first scorer of 2018 Russia world cup.

Twenty minutes into the game Saudi Arabia was finally able to cross the D-area. Saudi went for a Corner followed by another Corner but Russia regained its possession.

In the similar tern of the event, one of the main Russian players Sergey Dzadove caught a dramatic injury and the play was stopped after a player was seen lying on the pitch so, Dzadove was replaced by Denis Cheryshev.

On around 31'st minutes the referee signaled a free kick as Mohammed Al-Sahlawi from Saudi Arabia tripped Roman Zobnin.

Later, the player who replaced Sergey Dzadove, playing with jersey number 6 Denis Cheryshev, netted another goal on 43rd minutes into the game. 

The first half of the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening game recorded the advantage of 2-0 to the host country.
