Rory Joseph MacDonald or famously known as Rory MacDonald is a Canadian Mixed Martial Artist who is currently competing for American renowned MMA promotion, Bellator MMA where he is defending Bellator Welterweight Championship.
He turned professional in 2005 and previously competed for King of the Cage and Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is also the former King of the Cage Lightweight Champion.
Rory MacDonald was born on July 22, 1989, in Quesnel, British Columbia, Canda. He is Canadian by nationality. His childhood was very difficult as his parents divorced when he was 5. He then started living with his mom, Valerie Mullock and stepdad.
MacDonald then moved to Kelowna in the interior of British Columbia to live with his father. He was mocked at school so he started skipping classes. He was later rusticated from his school from beating his classmate.

He won the bout via unanimous decision and got injured during the match.
