Roman Torres is a star Panamanian player who serves as the captain of the National team and also plays for the MLS club Seattle Sounders FC as a defender. Roman Torres played with Chepo at the youth level. He started his professional career with Chepo in 2004 and played 27 games scoring 5 goals. In 2005, he joined San Francisco where he appeared in 33 games and scored 4 goals.
The defender moved to Cortulua and scored 6 goals appearing in 33 matches. He is most known for his long stint with La Equidad from 2007-2015 where he appeared in 84 matches. He also won the Copa Colombia with the club in 2008.
