On Monday Night Raw's episode of October 4, 1993, a 20-man royal battle was held; for the vacant WWF Intercontinental Championship, the last two participants would face each other the following week. Ramon began a feud with Shawn Michaels over which man had the stronger claim to the Intercontinental Championship. Michaels had been stripped of the title months before due to "inactivity" (he was actually suspended during that time).
After leaving the WWF with an unannounced promo on May 27, 1996, Hall returned to WCW for the third time, appearing from the crowd in street clothes and claiming to be an "outsider." Razor was joined by Kevin Nash on June 10. They said they were undertaking a hostile takeover of WCW, then slammed through the table of the commentator to interviewer Eric Bischoff.
Razor Ramon was announced on March 24, 2014, as the seventh and final inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of that year. On April 5, the night before WrestleMania XXX, he was inducted in New Orleans.
