An American renowned fighter Raymond Anthony Borg is well recognized as Ray Borg who presently competes in the UFC’s flyweight division. A professional since 2012, he has competed in the promotion of the Legacy Fighting Championship and King of the Cage.

Following his successful career in his native nation, the United States, with an undefeated MMA record of 6-0, Borg signed with UFC in April of 2014.

On 19th April, Borg made his UFC debut against Dustin Ortiz at UFC on Fox: Werdum vs. Browne. He got defeated his debut fight via split decision in the third round. In his second UfC fight, he faced Shane Howell and kissed his first victory in his UFC career via submission in the round first as well as earned his first ever Performance of the Night bonus award.

Then consecutively, He won duo UFC fight against  Chris Kelades and Geane Herrera at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Thatch and UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. Saint Preux respectively.

On 6th February 2016, he got defeated by Justin Scoggins at UFC Fight Night: Hendricks vs. Thompson via unanimous decision in the round third.

Later ten months Borg returned to face Louis Smolka at UFC 207. He won the fight via unanimous decision. Then he made his appearance against Jussier Formiga at UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Gastelum on 11th March 2017. Like his previous fight, Borg won the fight via unanimous decision in the 3rd round.

He last fought against Demetrious Johnson at UFC 216 on 7th October 2017. He loses the fight via submission in the 5th round. On 7th April 2018, Borg is scheduled to face Brandon Moreno at UFC 223.

Currently 24, Ray Borg is a married man. He tied the wedding knot with his longtime girlfriend Amand Borg. 

Ray Borg's Net Worth and Endorsement

Ray Borg has earned his wealth widely through his MMA career. Presently he is signed his UFC which is also his major source of earning. In his first UFC fight, he collected $8000. Despite the loss in his 5th UFC match, he earned $18000 show cash and $2500 Reebok sponsorship. In his 7th UFC fight, he received $20,000 show cash plus $20,000 win bonus and $5000 from Reebok Sponsorship.

Though he was defeated by Demetrius Johnson at UFC 216, he earned $100,000.  The fighter currently receives $150 thousands as his per fight salary, exclusive of win bonuses and performance of the nights.
