NBA Finals: Golden State Warriors Defeats Cleveland Cavaliers in the Game 3 and Makes 3-0 lead in the Series Soccer

Golden State Warriors defeated Cleveland Cavaliers in the third straight NBA finals game on Thursday at the Quicken Loan Arena to make the 3-0 lead in the series. Warriors are just a win away from their back-to-back NBA Championship title.

The Defending Champion, Warriors defeated Cavaliers 110-102 in the Game 3 of the NBA finals with Kevin Durant scoring the highest 43 points of the night. He defaced his career-high playoff score. Stephen Curry, who recorded his career-high 3 pointers with 9 in the Game 2, had a poor performance scoring only 11 with a single 3-pointer from 10.

Klay Thompson also failed to make an impact in the game as he had difficulties to find the basket from the downtown. He scored only 10 points.

LeBron James individually was phenomenal for Cavaliers as he managed to score 33 and had 11 assists with 10 rebounds. However, it was not enough to prevent Warriors to pick their third consecutive wins.

Cleveland will have to win all four remaining games to claim the title. They previously made a comeback from the 3-1 trail in 2016 to become the champions against Warriors. However, this time they will have to compete with Durant added in the team.

Andre Iguodala made the first appearance in the NBA finals as he picked up a knee injury in the Western Conference finals. However, he had to leave the court with another knee injury.

Game 4 will be held on June 8 at the Quicken Loan Arena. The Warriors defeated Cleveland  124-114 in the Game 1 of the NBA finals and had the lead of 122-103 in the Game 2.
