Marcus Rashford was born on 31 October 1997, to his parents Robert Rashford and Melanie Rashford. He was born and raised in Wythenshawe, Manchester, England. He has two brothers named Dwaine Maynard and Dane Rashford.
Talking about his nationality, he is an English citizen and belongs to Afro-English ascent. He joined the youth system of Manchester United at the age of seven in 2005.
Club Career
After being in the youth academy for 10 years, at the age of 17, he began his professional footballing career since 2015, after he was promoted to the first team of the club. He was named on the first-team bench for the first time on 21 November for a Premier League match against Watford. He marked his first-team debut with two goals against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League round of 32, on 25 February 2016.
His Premier League debut came on 28 February 2016, in a match against Arsenal in which he scored two goals and an assist. Aged 18, he scored the only goal in the Manchester derby, his team's first away league win over Manchester City since 2012. He has won over 56 appearances and 13 goals and more to come as he still plays for the club alongside Paul Pogba, Antony, and Romelu Lukaku.
Marcus Rashford has represented his national side England at both junior and senior levels in several major tournaments. He made his senior international debut for his side on 27 May 2016, against Australia and scored a goal becoming the youngest Englishman to score on his international debut. He scored his first competitive goal for the senior team on 4 September 2017, against Slovakia in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification alongside Gary Cahill and Wayne Rooney.
