Lourdes Duarte was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents are of Cuban descent and growing up, and she has spent time in Puerto Rico and Florida. She attended the DePaul University, where she graduated with a bachelors degree in arts and communications.

Professional Life

Lourdes Duarte started her career as a freelance reporter for Spanish television network Telemundo in Chicago. After her job at Telemundo, she started working at the Metro Networks radio stations WLRN-FM and WTMI-FM.
