Kylian Mbappe Tests Positive for COVID-19 Soccer

French international footballer Kylian Mbappe is out of the French team at the UEFA Nations League and will miss today's game against Croatia as he has contracted the coronavirus. The French Football Federation (FFF) announced the result and revealed that the PSG forward has been isolated from the team.

In a statement, FFF said:

"The result of the COVD-19 test administered by UEFA on Monday morning was positive and he was taken from the group after training when the final results were given, before his return to his home in the evening."

Mbappe reportedly caught the virus from his PSG teammates who were tested positive six days ago. Neymar, Mauro Icardi, Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Keylor Navas, and Marquinhos were tested with the virus some days ago.

The 21-year-old will miss France's next match against Croatia on Tuesday. He played on Saturday against Sweden and scored the goal in a 1-0 win.

Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Neymar were on a vacation in Ibiza, Spain before the players were tested. The French side seems to be in trouble after their 7 players are corona positive as they are preparing for the start of the domestic season on Thursday.
