Early Life of Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle was born as Kurt Steven Angle on December 9, 1968, in Mt. Lebanon Township, Pennsylvania, United States. He is American by nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius.

Angle was raised alongside his four older brothers and a sister by their parents: Jackie and David Angle. He went to the Clarion University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 1993. In 2003, his sister died. 

Professional Career of Kurt Angle

In the years 1996, Angle began his wrestling career professionally with Extreme Championship Wrestling where he wrestled for a year. That same year, he won an Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

Later two years, Angle signed a long-term contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF now WWE). Angle took part in the Royal Rumble but was eliminated by Shawn Michaels, causing Angle to return to the ring to eliminate Michaels in retaliation 2005.

During his tenure in WWF/WWE, Kurt Angle was a six-time world champion, a one-time United States Champion, one-time Intercontinental Champion, one-time European Champion, one-time Hardcore Champion, and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He also wrestled in TNA, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion, and the Independent Circuit.

After Vince McMahon appointed Angle as the new general manager of Raw, he made his first WWE appearance on the April 3 episode after Wrestlemania 33. On 20th October, WWE announced Angle's in-ring return after 11 years, replacing Roman Reigns and teaming with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to face Kane, Braun Strowman, The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro in a 5-on-3 handicap Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at TLC: Ladders & Chairs.

When the McMahons announced on the December 17, 2018, edition of Raw that, as a united group, they were taking over both Raw and SmackDown, Angle was effectively eliminated as General Manager.

Angle has revealed an interest in pursuing an acting career after retiring from professional wrestling. In 2008, he made his acting debut as a racist prison deputy in the short film Chains. In 1996, Angle became a marketing representative for Protos Foods. The following years, he served for a year as a sportscaster on Pittsburgh's local Fox affiliate WPGH-TV.
