Khabib Nurmagomedov’s camp warns Conor McGregor to come with Security MMA

Khabib Nurmagomedov is scheduled to face Dustin Poirier on September 7 in Abu Dhabi for the lightweight title. UFC president Dana White offered a cage-side seat for the Eagle's arch-rival Conor McGregor to watch the bout.

However, Khabib's trainer Javier Mendez recently sent some warnings to the Notorious as he had some words for Khabib against his religion, father and wife, some months back.

“If Conor shows up I think they better have a lot of security - that’s a Muslim country and I don’t think he’s made many friends. He better come well protected as a lot of people take offense to how he attacked Khabib’s country, their religion and attacked his father.”

Talking to SunSport, Mendez said.

“The three things that they’re known to adore and hold dearer than life are those three things. Conor knows what he’s doing and he attacked those three things and he did the worst thing you could ever do by attacking his wife.”

The American added.

Ahead of their fight at UFC 229, The Irishman aimed at his rival’s father Abdulmanap, calling him a “quivering coward” and called devoted Muslim Nurmagomedov a “mad backward c***” for not drinking the Irishman’s Proper 12 whiskey.

“That made it even worse. Conor is a mastermind at what he does I just wish he never did those stuff, it just causes so much hate and I don’t like it. But that’s who he is and if he does get another shot to fight Khabib again it’s because of all the talk he’s done.

“This guy Khabib wants to smash him again - and he will get smashed again - no doubt about it, trust me on that he’ll get smashed again. It’s not like the Dustin fight, where it’s skills vs skills, big respect to Dustin he’s a true champion and true sportsman and his character is how it should be.”
