Khabib Nurmagomedov close to Floyd Mayweather Fight; The Eagle Looking for Easy Money Fights? Boxing

Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager Ali Abdelaziz recently made the announcement that The Russian is close to a mega-bout against the undefeated boxing sensation Floyd Mayweather

Abdulaziz geared up the fans speculation yesterday with a tweet: “We will blow your mind big news coming @TeamKhabib.”

However, the match seems to be in a long way off.

Khabib is currently suspended from the sport for his involvement in UFC 229 aftermatch brawl. He is also lined up for his rematch with Conor McGregor and George St. Pierre. Conor is also currently banned for the same cause.

The UFC lightweight champion called out the former World Champion after his 4th round submission win over the former two-division champion Conor McGregor

“Hey let’s go, Floyd, we have to fight now. 50-0 versus 27-0, two guys that never lose.”

The Eagle said.

“Oh, we fighting! I’m my own boss so I can’t say what’s going on on Khabib’s end but on my end, we can make it happen.”

The former pound for pound king responded.

Khabib recently was accused by ESPN's MMA reporter Ariel Helwani of copying Conor and which so far seems correct as he is asking for a Mayweather fight, along with a trophy fight with GSP which seems unfair from former interim Lightweight champion Tony Ferguson angle, whereas reports contradict another factor, where Khabib reportedly is denying fighting Conor on a re-match, despite being offered a sweet $15 million against the former double-division champion.
