Joe Rogan believes Tony Ferguson is ‘scariest guy’ at 155 Sportscaster

Tony Ferguson is yet to suffer a loss in the UFC since May 2012. The last time he was defeated Barack Obama was serving his first reign as the US president, Benson Henderson was the UFC lightweight champion, and Golden State Warriors still hadn’t won the NBA Championships since 1975. Since his loss to Michael Johnson in May 2012, he is on the 12-win streak including 9 through submission and knockout.

Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on El Cucuy and revealed that Tony has freaked him out. Talking on his “JRE MMA” podcast, Rogan explained how he thinks Tony is the most feared fighter in the lightweight division.

“Tony Ferguson’s an animal. He’s the scariest guy at 155 in my world cause he doesn’t get tired. That ‘Cowboy’ fight freaked me out. ‘Cowboy’ looked like Tony had bricks in his gloves. His face was all busted up, Tony didn’t look like he had a scratch on him and Tony wasn’t even tired. It’s crazy man, he has insane power. It’s a weird thing cause Tony does stuff to people and he doesn’t get tired.”

Rogan said.

Ferguson who made his debut with a bout against Ramsey Nijem in the season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2011 has been nearly perfect in the industry since then. His only loss in UFC was against Michael Johnson via decision.

“The thing is Tony’s pace is so disturbing. It’s so disturbing. Because I watch him fight guys and I’m like, ‘how do you keep up with that.’ Nobody keeps up with it. You gotta crack him. You gotta catch him. Anthony [Pettis] caught him, but he broke his hand. But Pettis had him hurt and Lando had him hurt. Lando Vannata cracked him and had him hurt. He knows how to survive though.”

Rogan added.

Tony Ferguson was last in action at UFC 238. He defeated Donald Cerrone via TKO. Ferguson is widely considered to be deserving of a UFC lightweight title shot.
