Polish Fighter Joanna Jedrzejczyk is the former Women’s strawweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC promotions. She also has the record of being a 3rd European champion in the history of UFC after Bas Rutten in 1999 and Andrei Arlovski in 2005. 

 

Famous with her stage name Violence, she is one of the most vicious female strikers currently in contract with the famous American MMA promotion UFC since 2012. Prior to being an MMA fighter, she was a Kick Boxing champion with a pro-record of  27 wins and 2 losses.

After she won against Carla Esparza in UFC 185, she became the first polish fighter to become a UFC champion.

After that, she defended her titles on five different occasions against fighters like Jessica PenneValérie LétourneauCláudia GadelhaKarolina Kowalkiewicz, and Jéssica Andrade and held the record of most defenses at the strawweight division. 

She first faced a surprising TKO loss in the first round at the UFC 217 event against Rose Namajunas and lost her title to thug Rose. She after three months was given an immediate re-match against Rose at UFC 223 but after five rounds of nonstop action Rose Namajunas was able to defend her belt for the second time against Joanna after she received a unanimous decision victory against the most violent women in the UFC.
