A native of Brooklyn, New York, JayVaughn Pinkston was born on 27th November 1991. His birth sign is Sagittarius. Talking about his nationality and ethnicity, Pinkston is African-American. Upon graduation, Pinkston attended Villanova University” as he had already announced it before. During his freshman year, Pinkston didn’t play any of the matches as he was suspended because he was charged with two counts of harassment and assault. Going deep, he got into a fight at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house following a fraternity brother locked him in a laundry room on 7th November 2010.

Freshman Year

Pinkston made his Villanova debut in a win over Monmouth where he scored 9 points with 4 rebounds. In his redshirt freshman year, Pinkston averaged 9.6 points as well as 5.2 rebounds per game.

Sophomore

In his second season with Villanova University, Pinkston led the team in recording with 13.3 points per game.

Junior

In his junior year, he was named to preseason second-team All-Big East. On 7th December 2013, Pinkston scored a 2nd-high 27 points with 8 rebounds in a 98-68 victory at St. Joseph’s.  Pinkston improved his cores to 14.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a junior.

Senior

On 14th November 2014, Pinkston made his senior debut against Lehigh where he scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. As a senior, he was ranked # 39 by college basketball, in its preseason ranking of the best player.

JayVaughn Pinkston's Professional Career

Pinkston was undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft. After that, he joined the Brooklyn Nets for the 2015 NBA Summer League.

On 30th July 2016, Pinkston signed to Italian Serie A2 Citroen side Dinamica Mantova. Further, he played the 2017–18 season for the Polish team Krosno. As of now, he is signed to Greek team Kolossos Rodou for the 2018–19 season.
