Prowse has had a keen interest in football since his tender age. At the age of eight, Ward-Prowse joined the youth team of Southampton in 2003 and gave his appearance for the Under-18 team during the 2010-11 season.

Senior Career

After eight years in the junior team, Prowse was called up to the senior team in October 2011 and made his debut in the League Cup against Crystal Palace. Later, he signed his first professional contract with the team in May 2012.

Prowse signed a new six-year deal with the team which kept him on the team until 2022. Prowse was disqualified after getting a red card for a foul on Sunderland’s Jermain Defoe on May 2, 2015.
