Ismael Diaz de Leon, commonly known as Ismael Diaz is a Panamanian international footballer who currently plays for Spanish club Deportivo Fabril as a left winger. Before moving to Deportivo, he played for Porto B (2015-17) on loan from Tauro (2012-17).

Also, the young talent in the Panama national team was also named in Panama’s 23 men's squad for 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Ismael Diaz's Club career

Tauro

On 2^nd September 2012, Diaz made his professional debut for Tauro against Alianza, when he was just 15 years and two months. In summer 2014, he had a trial with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

In August 2015, he was loaned out to Portuguese club FC Porto. With the club, he won 2015-16 Segunda Liga and 2016-17 Premier League International Cup. In 2017 the loan ended due to FC Porto order.

Deportivo B

On 22^nd September 2017, Diaz penned a contract with Deportivo Fabril for an undisclosed transfer fee. He made his debut for the Deportivo B in a 1-0 win over Real Valladolid with a goal from Borja Galana in the 16^th minutes.

Ismael Diaz's International career

Ismael Diaz was a part of Panama U-17 and U-20 national team and has played at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

In August 2014, Díaz made his international debut for Panama’s senior team in a friendly match against Cuba and had, as of 10 June 2015, earned a total of 2 caps, scoring one goal.

More, Diaz was included in Panama’s 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup along with his teammates Alex Rodriguez, Roman Torres, and Luis Ovalle.
