Iceland announces their 23-man squad for the World Cup 2018 Soccer

The Iceland men's national football team has announced their provisional 23-man squad for 2018 FIFA World Cup. Despite struggling with an injury for much of the season, Gylfi Sigurdsson is named in the 23-man squad.

Iceland is surely not the favorites of this World Cup but can prove themselves as one of the best underdogs in the tournament. After their heroic performance at Euro 2016, they are this looking to stun on the biggest stage of all in Russia this time.

The smallest nation in the competition has reached their first ever finals. They will compete in a tough group containing Argentina, Croatia, and Nigeria.
