Hamid Mido was born on 3rd of June 1993, in Aleppo, Syria, as Hamid Darwich Mido. Talking about his nationality, Mido is Syrian and was raised alongside his older brother Mohamed Mido, who is also a Syrian professional footballer.
Mido began his football career professionally with the FC Al-Ittihad, signing his first ever professional contract. Then in 2013, he switched to Al-Minaa where he made 41 appearances and scored 8 goals.
In 2015, Mido signed a contract with Iraqi football club Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, which competes in the Iraqi Premier League, however, played just one league game. After a short spell with Al-Tadamun, Mido signed for Al-Kuwait for which he currently plays wearing a 23 number shirt.
