Despite the knowledge of his children, it remains a mystery as to who the mother of his children is. His girlfriend is Dorislyn Martinez and she is rumored to be the mother of his sons. It is not known for a fact as to whether the rumor of her being the children of his mother is true or not.

As per his physique, his height his 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) and weighs 205 lb (93 kg). 

Early Life of Gerald Green

Gerald Green was born on January 26, 1986, in Houston, Texas to parents Brenda and Gerald Green. He was a student of J. Frank Dobie High School and only started playing high school basketball in his sophomore year of high school.

He later transferred to Gulf Shores Academy in Houston where he played his senior years of basketball. Soon after graduation, he decided to enter the NBA Draft and hired an agent.

Professional Life of Gerald Green

The Boston Celtics picked Gerald Green in the 2005 NBA Draft with their 18th pick overall in the draft. He was one of the last payers to enter the NBA directly from high school. He saw limited time at the beginning of the season and was placed on the Fayetteville Patriots of the NBA D-League in January of 2006. He was later recalled to the Celtics before being sent to the NBDL Florida Flame on February 16.

Green was activated to the NBA later and made 32 game appearances for his rookie season with an average record of 11.8 minutes, 5.2 points and 1.2 rebounds. The following season, he got to see more time in the court but was still unable to land the starting position.

He ended the 2006-07 season with an average of 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists.

In the 2007 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, he defeated competition like Nate Robinson, Tyrus Thomas and Dwight Howard to win the contest. Green along with Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Theo Ratliff, and Sebastian Telfair was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Garnett on July 31, 2007.

He remained at the Bench for the entirety of the season and was later traded to Houston Rockets on February 21, 2008, in exchange for Kirk Snyder and a second round 2010 draft pick.

Gerald Green was released by the Rockets on March 8, 2008, making him an unrestricted free agent. He signed to a one-year verbal agreement with the Dallas Mavericks on July 1, 2008. After one season with the team, he went international to Lokomotiv-Kuban of Russia on December 2009.

He was waived by the Kuban in June of 2010 and he made a return to NBA Los Angeles Lakers for the 2010 NBA Sumer League. After the end of the league, he played with teams like BC Krasnye Krylya of Russia and Foshan Dralions of China.

The Los Angeles Lakers signed Gerald Green on December 13, 2011, but was waived on December 22. He was then signed to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League. In 2012, he was signed by the New Jersey Nets.

He played 31 games in the season and averaged 12.9 points, 1.1 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. The following season, Green was signed by the Indiana Pacers who traded him to the Phoenix Suns on July 27, 2013, alongside Miles Plumlee.

Gerald Green signed with the Miami Heat for the 2015-16 season. After the end of the season, he signed with the Boston Celtics on July 27, 2016. After a short time at the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2017 preseason game, he was signed by the Houston Rockets on December 28, 2017.

He currently continues to play with the Rockets who re-signed him on July 10, 2018. His current teammates are Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, James Harden etc.
