Just 26 years old, Bolanos is 4-1 in the Lion Fight ring and has already delivered back-to-back fight finishes through two stunning performances. He defeated Brian Del Rosario by TKO in his professional debut at Lion Fight 14.
Gaston Bolanos was born on 14th September 1992 and raised in Lima, Peru along with his siblings. From a young, age, he developed a keen interest in mixed martial arts and began Muay Thai at the age of 10.
Bolanos trained at Combat Sports Academy (CSA gym) in Dublin, CA. Bolanos was awarded U.S. Muay Thai Champion, two-time South American Muay Thai Champion, and a two-time USA representative at the IFMA World Championships.
As of 2018, Bolanos's career disclosed earnings estimated to be around $8,000. Bolanos received $4,000 after defeating Abner Perez at Bellator 172. He earned $3,000 ($1,500 to show +$1,500 win bonus) at Bellator 183 where he was defeated by Brandon Laroco.
At Bellator 199, he defeated Malcolm Hill and was paid $5,000 but did not receive win bonus.
At the age of 10, Bolanos began training in combat sports in his hometown Lima where he trained under Kirian Fitzgibbons and Kevin Ross, current Lion Fight Super Lightweight Champion.
He made his official Amateur debut against Francisco Contreras and won the match in the round three on February 02, 2013 at Dragon House 13.
On 18th February 2017, Bolanos made his official Bellator debut against Abner Perez. He won the match via TKO (punches) in round one.
He next lost his second match against Brandon Laroco by Technical Submission (Triangle Choke) in the 2nd round, on September 23, 2017.
Following the loss, Bolanos came back with a bang and went on to give two wins against Rick Gutierrez and Malcolm Hill at Bellator 189- Budd vs. Blencowe 2 and Bellator 199. Similarly, Adam Piccolotti fought against Carrington Banks at that event.
Currently, 26, Bolanos stands at a height of 5'7" (170.18 cm) and weighs around 145 lbs i.e. 65.77 kg. He has not shared anything about his girlfriend.
