Popular for his receiving, blocking & ball-drill technique, Gary Sanchez is a baseball catcher who currently plays for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He started his MLB career with Yankees in 2015.
Sanchez was born on December 2, 1992, in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. He holds a Dominican citizenship and born as Sagittarius birth sign.

Later in 2013, Sanchez was promoted, and Yankees sent him to play with the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League.
In 2015, Sanchez promoted to the major leagues. On October 3, as a pinch hitter, he made his debut of major leagues. Later on, the Yankees assigned him to the Arizona Fall League.
The year 2016 was extraordinary for him. Sanchez was again called up the major league and he played remarkably well. On August 22, Sanchez was honored by AL Player of the Week.
On June 10, 2017, Sanchez hit hardest home runs of his career, a 115.1 – mph to left-center field against Mike Wright of Baltimore Orioles.
Sanchez married his girlfriend Saharia after having an affair for some time. They celebrated their wedding in the presence of some important guests and relatives.
The couple is parents to a daughter Sarah, who is 2 and half years old.
