Garrett Bartholomew Temple, popular as Garrett Temple is a professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings. He plays as a shooting guard/point guard. Temple started his NBA career with Houston Rockets. In addition, he also played for San Antonio Spurs, Charlotte Bobcats, and Washington Wizards.
Temple was born on May 8, 1986, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. He holds an American nationality and is of black ethnicity. Temple was born to Collis Temple and Soundra Johnson Temple.
His father Collis was the first African-American descent who play basketball at LSU. Collis and Elliot are his older brothers and have a younger sister, Colleen Noelle.
Temple went to LSU Laboratory School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a senior, he averaged 13.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. Upon high school education, Temple attended LSU and played for the LSU Tigers basketball team.
In his sophomore season, Temple averaged 8.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. In 35 games of his senior season, Temple averaged 7.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
