Gao Lin is a professional Chinese footballer who currently plays for China national team and Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League as a Striker or winger.
Gao Lin was born on February,14,1986 in Zhengzhou, Henan, China. Gao holds a Chinese nationality.
At the beginning of his career, Gao Lin joined the youth team’s Qinhuangdao Football School in 1999 for a couple of years and moved to Chinese football club, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua F.C. in 2011. Likewise, Gao Lin made his senior debut in 2005 against Liaoning Zhongyu as a substitute for Xie Hui. Gao Lin gave his diligent performance with his team establishing himself within the Chinese national team.
Gao Lin played with the club for four years, where he appeared in more than seventy appearances and scored fourteen goals until 2009.
Currently, Gao Lin plays for a professional Chinese football club, Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao F.C. as a winger. As of now, Lin has made more than two hundred appearances, scoring over 80 goals. Gao Lin joined the club in 2010 and since then he is playing with the club.
Gao Lin made his official debut for the club against Beijing BIT on April 3, 2010, and scored his first goal for the club. Gao Lin has won the Chinese Super League, China League One, AFC Champions League, Chinese FA Cup with his team.
As an intern, Gao Lin represented his national team in U-20, U23. He then made his senior debut for the international team on July 31, 2005, against South Korea in the East Asian Football Championship. To this date, Lin has played over 90 matches and scored 20 goals.
