Arsenal have started their pre-season with a 3-0 victory over Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids in their US tour. Arsenal lined-up a very young team in their first pre-season game giving their recent signing Gabriel Martinelli debut game.

The young Brazilian forward succeed in finding the net in his debut while the two other goals came from the two other young talents 17-year-old Bukayo Saka and 18-year-old James Olayinka, earlier.

"The first match was good to use different young players. To give them chances to show their quality, commitment and the idea to help the team. The atmosphere here was perfect, a lot of Arsenal supporters and we had a good day here."

Arsenal manager Unai Emery said after the win.

Arsenal will head for the International Champions Cup as they will face Bayern this Wednesday. They will face Fiorentina and Real Madrid on Saturday and next Tuesday, respectively.
