Emrah Klimenta was born on February 13, 1991, in Rozaje, Montenegro to parents Jakup and Zekija Klimenta. He was born during a time of turmoil in the Balkan region. During his time at the Sacramento Republic, Klimenta was the team's all-time leader in minutes, starts and appearances.
