Elias Theodorou was born on May 31, 1988, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Theodorou is Canadian by his nationality and is of Greek descent. He enrolled at Meadowvale Secondary School and then joined the Humber College to earn B.A Degree in Creative Advertising.
After a year, Theodorou eventually fell in love with the sport and take MMA classes as a workout before opting to follow MMA as a profession. Theodorou has been living with his parents in Mississauga, which is between his various gyms. He trained at Chute Boxe Academy.
Theodorou has always dreamed to be a martial artist. He has a B.A Degree in Creative Advertising at Humber College. He used to model, act and stunt before starting his career as fighting.
His first match came on June 17, 2011, against Tanner Tolman at HKFC; School of Hard Knocks 12. He won the fight via TKO(punches and elbows) in round one.

On October 1, 2018, he faced Eryk Anders at UFC 231. he won the fight via split decision. Similarly, he faced Derek Brunson on May 4, 2019, at UFC Fight Night 151 but lost the fight by unanimous decision.
